We celebrated National Hamburger Month at Pincho Factory in Westchester by having what I called a “Burger Orgy”. Charm City Burger Company came down from Deerfield Beach and El Rey del las Fritas joined in on the fun as well. Fireman Derek closed out the event with his pies.
Tickets were sold out for the event and included a Slider with a side dish from each restaurant, Craft Beer from Brown Distributing and a couple of Mini Pies from Fireman Derek’s.
El Rey de las Fritas kicked off the event with the “Frita Dulce” which is their Classic Frita (always with fresh cut Julienne Potatoes) topped with Fried Sweet Plantains and a side of Corn Nuggets.
Next up was Charm City Burger Company’s Good Ole Double Slider with Smash Fried Potatoes. The Good Ole’s got American Cheese, Pickled Tomato Slice and their Peppered Bacon with Charm Sauce.
And just when you thought you were done, Fireman Derek brought out a couple of mini pies for everyone. The first was the Key Lime Pie which is what originally put him on the local map and his newest creation, a Dulce de Leche Cheesecake. And yes, he really is a Fireman and he really does love baking.
On behalf of Pincho Factory, Charm City Burger Company, El Rey de las Fritas, Fireman Derek’s World Famous Pies and myself, we thank everyone who came out to celebrate National Hamburger Month with us!
